fucking terrible
Fires, i find both those clips incredibly shit, not talented at all, i don't see an element of creativeness or musical talent in what either of those to entertainers are playing. i totally agree I am glad someone does find some value, i just can't. Someone bopping around with a cock on his/her forehead screams "look at me" not "listen to me" once again i completely agree. let me go of topic as well and tell you something about myself, the music i listen(ed), and with it possibly insight in why its somewhat easier for me to look past the penisface. i'm a fairly heavy add'er, and my attention span is short, i never felt much for the music people around me listened to and thus was not interested in music till i was about 12 and got introduced to slipknot... now that was something that accually kept my focus with the music. and being an add'er i have a very hyperactive mind, but on the outside im a very calm, silent, patient and selfaware guy. this is because my hyperactive mind runs simulation after simulation before an action is taken, because of my add i made thought jumps other people didn't follow which made me weird, i also had alot of trouble with humor. i was basicly a social outcast. although it could have been much worse, i wasn't badly bullied or anything. the energy that slipknot put in their music allowed me to take the hyperactivity outside my head, pleasent serenity :) ofcourse puberty wasn't far away and with an asshole for a father, i could be 1 angry rebbelious teen, metal became hardcore(the elctronic kind), hardcore became speedcore/terror by this time slipknot felt like r&b... it didn't take long before i realized this was not a scene i liked. altho i sometimes still listen some tracks in those genres, only some. i had ended up at punk(i accully walked around for quite a while with 4 green-pink spikes), what punk made me realize was that there where more things that could keep music interesting for me, experimentation, hearing new stuff, because although punk had wicked energy and it's lyrics where provoking, it very quickly became all the same. by this time i had found last.fm and as you can read i'm not someone who likes mainstream music, last.fm allowed me to scoure every musical niche out there, and i loved it, there was always something that was different enough to make it interesting, and i learned that even the mainstream genres have gems, and genres i initially liked became boring very quickly also being reduced to just a few gems. in that time i have become used to the crappile hiding in each genre, and that music i initially didn't like, could require some getting used to, lets take breaks for example, i like energy so no low/mid-tempo, because the beat is broken you cant just follow the rythem like you would normally do, this takes people who aren't used to it out of their rythem constantly especially on higher tempo's its nice to get what we expect to get and know, the first time you hear those breaks is nothing like you expected or know. but once you get used to the sound, and figure out you can just keep the same rythem when the beat breaks it becomes enjoyable. i once accually had a bottle of soda, but i didnt notice the bottle had already been opened and the soda replaced with ice tea, iv'e never tasted something so faul. a friend of mine takes a sip and says its ice tea, i take a sip, yup normal ice-tea, it didn't taste how i expected it to taste so i think my brain screamed "dude thats spoiled". so what you expect deffinatly influences what you taste, i wouldn't be surprised if it was like that for all senses all in all it has made me very open minded towards all sorts of music, when i'm in the car i enjoy classical :S and i think i could call it my favrite genre, every piece is a story that unfolds and it calms me down completely instead of just moving the energy out. but anyways, in the squater scene where i lived where often performances of the same nature, its not meant to be serieus, as seriously EVERYONE was tripping balls at these parties, weird shit like this allows people to act weird themselves, because there will always be someone weirder, which is great when it comes to psychedelics (granted the penisface would not be a prop of my choice), and the qaulity of the music doesn't matter on psychedelics, as long as there are psychedelic sounds, like his weird mic. everything is awesome. his outfit could be called the underground variant on the feel good costumes some people wear to psy-trance festivals. i understand this music but i would absolutly chooce a sunny psy-trance festival with people in colorfull and positive outfits... like a rabbit suit, over a dark damp basement with a dickhead. now am i a pretty possitive and feel good guy with a pretty postive lifestyle, so that festival matches my personality while i'm tripping and thats always a good thing, i expect the people liking the dickhead have somewhat darker personalitys/lifestyles. think junks. atleast this was my impression of that scene in my area. Going slightly off topic, but i would like to hear your thoughts? I still argue to this day.... The best who will entertain you at a live show as an electronic dj... Would have to be James Zabiela, Chemical Brothers or Nick Warren. All 3 have considerably different styles, but i would like to bet there are very few out there who have been to a show by these three and been disappointed? I have seen these three, multiple times and always been wow'ed with their abilities to entertain. I could mention others, but these stand out! like i said i don't really feel much for most of the low/mid-tempo stuff, which seems to be the style here. i've heard of the chemical brothers, i think :S i'll check them out after a good nights rest, im currently listening a lot of raggajungle/core for the energy, what i also like is the play with stereo effects the way tipper and bil bless do, they manage to get specifick sounds at very specific places in your head and moving them around in a much more interesting and diverse way then a wobble. im not really the type to listen to mixes i guess but as i said i'm fairly open minded ;) i'm the same with food i guess, there's only a few things i really like, i don't like asperges but that because of its texture. i don't think the rest tastes bad, i just dont care for it its headphones on, eyes closed and drift away in a 3-D soudscape https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3qfhTTJJCU
You'll have to be high or on drugs to 'get this' I think...
Just give me something like, Nick Warren to watch (and listen)

WOW! Nick Warren must be choking on his cornflakes when he is mentioned numerous times in comparison with Anklepants penishead. I'm just going to go for a little lie down and listen to Global Underground Reykyavik CD1 and try to forget what I have seen.
What is almost as bad as the animatronic cocknose is watching Adolf Hipster bopping around as if he is having the time of his life. The same guy who is dancing with Sven Vath, DJ Hell, Michael Mayer etc. These proper DJs who once would have given Adolf Hipster some respect must now think he is off his rocker. The only silver lining to this awful Boiler Room incident is that at least it wasn't FUCKING AVICII!!!!!!

WTF! Watched anklepants and I simply sat here, my mouth wide opened... :-0
Maybe this is "art"? I dont know, I am with bobross, for me this guy with his penis-nose is disturbing. I dont get the idea of it but the audience seems to be happy. Strange.

@djwasabi:  which drugs should one use to get this? I cant think of one. On acid this would be a horror-trip. :-)
Melodic, deep, sing-a-long. :-)

That doesn't make much sense. You don't give normal humans "human awards", do you?
