as funny as it is, i've learned about SEO this summer, and well, i can help whatever you're interested in. usually you'd need to lay out what you want from SEO, then apply it the way you want results.. you know? pm me if you want some of my help. i am out of job now, got some extra time on my hands. i can recommend a couple of short brochures for SEO, free to download.

but first thing i'd recommend is get an account with Google, to be specific -
Google Analytics @ https://www.google.com/analytics/
Google Webmaster @ https://www.google.com/webmasters/

both can be accessed with 1 account, of course.. anyways, you add your site in each of the tools, confirm it, and in a few days you'll have some stats on who's visiting, where they go, how they find your site, etc, etc. this is very essential for the SEO things, as it will also show if you're making any progress later...in summer 2011 tribalmixes was visited by 2-2.5k people daily. these days the number is 4-5k daily. with numbers going to 6-7k at times of festivals and events like WMC, UMF, etc.

also start thinking what keywords represent your site, what key phrases, etc.. another good way would be not to invent a wheel, but to look up its design somewhere else.. if you know of a site that is successful in your field, - you can always look what they are doing to gain that success.. you know, HTML is an open book, you can see how any site is made by simply visiting it.. =)

i dont wanna make money online and stuff, all i need is to work hard but people know about me and going to ask me do the fucking job and get their money for it. i know Sergey is such a resourse so gonna ask him for help at one point or another. Anyone else? go to https://pvc-dograma-bg.com/ and tell me if you can see any strenght or any weekness and how to improove it(i mean in the code, or in the build or whatever it is cos you might dont understand anything in BG). also, every single link posted elsewhere is in a great help for indexing, so id be gratefull to every1 who can help in that one area. other ideas are also appreciated.

a legitimate business can get a links from MozDirectory, being listed there is very good, i cannot get tribalmixes in there, they won't accept.. best is simply to participate in relevant forums. not even as much as here, but just a post every 2-3 days or something, and have site as a link in your signature. links, and for better understanding this type of links is called "back-links", are not for indexing, they are for many other purposes. for indexing you need to have a sitemap - a file xml/txt that has a list of all URLs, all pages on your site. this way google will know how to index, but even that is not needed, as long as your pages properly link to each other, so that crawler could go from one to another to every page. like stuff you want to index must be available with or without logging in, and such crap.

backlinks are different. very simplified, back links and they way they are displayed, tell google what other people and other sites think about your site, and how they perceive your site...  for example, you have your site name in signature here. it's good. all your posts, comments, etc, etc, now you have tribalmixes link to your site from MANY pages, and it's good, cause you contributed those pages and tm has benefited great, and for each of your posts you get a link back to your site - it's something i agree with, cause i am looking for your unique user-generated text input, and you're looking to leave another link (maybe not for that, but lets assume you are). if you have Google Webmaster account, you can actually see there with time tribalmixes will be mentioned alot, as a place that links to you alot. but lets get back to backlinks. first step to improve your link in signature? as i said - find your main keywords, and do a link with anchor text.

for example what i do is dj mixes - such a link tells everyone who sees it, and, most important, tells google, that tribalmixes.com is about DJ Mixes. this is the anchor text that is MOST important. if you link like that from your signature - google will know that tribalmixes things of your site as very good in making windows, or whatever you do, just put it as anchor text in the link. now lets think of tm and my link dj mixes ... if i post this link, for example, on some kids site or something, that has nothing to do with music. google will see it, but will not value it alot, because what can kids site know about tribalmixes? iuf i do a link from twitter, it's ok but better than kids, cause twitter ranks very high in the world, top 10 sites, so it's good - a link from top site, but still not the best. if i go to some dubstep forums and put a link - it is more valuable, but still not the best, cause dubstep is a fresh development on tm. if i get it on house-page.com or something like that, then it is best for google: not only a very relevant site links to tribalmixes, but also with anchor text "dj mixes" - very relevant/ but that's not all yet, the best is to link from HOME PAGE, from .com/ - a link from home page/index is as valuable as 1000 links from other pages of the same site. that is why you can rarely see main pages of sites in general linking to any other resources. links have "link juice", that flows from all pages into all pages, and there are ways to keep it in your site, not let it spill, but i think best is to link freely to anything, esp to anything relevant, cause alot of times they will link back to you w/o even you asking them for it. link juice is very complicated. and i barely know how it flows.. it's all about google page rank. tribalmixes has pr 4 on main page, many pages PR 3. your main page PR is 0, cause site is fresh, afaik. google raises ranks globally every 3 months, next one coming up around May 10th... your page will probably get PR 2-3 right away.

well, anyways, as i said, linking is best with Anchor Text and it's best from relevant sites. having all your 1000s of comment and posts link 1000s of tribalmixes pages to your site is good, but it's not good enough, compared to one link from some home-improvement site. also since site is fully in bulgarian, i would recommend linking with anchor text written in bulgarian, and from other bulgarian resources, find BG home improvement stores, forums and communities and start participating in them a little bit. and keep it all in your native language, or link with URL only, cause links with anchor text in english won't do much, for google usually same word in different languages means different things..

i can continue this, spit more wisdom as the time goes.. SEO did help me double visitations in half a year, ALEXA ranking went up 4 times, so it's a very proven method of attracting people to your site. how they will act on the site is not SEO, but more of site design and layout and shouldn't be mixed with SEO, except for easy access of anything that is on the screen and needed for navigation. yeah, site navigation could actually be called part of SEO science... maybe i call my friend to join this conversation, cause i learned all of my stuff from one friend of mine, plus read a book or two later, skimmed mostly..

why not, as i said - just put bulgarian text there, any anchor text is good, and since your firm is bulgarian for bulgarians - do everything in your language, way more useful..

dmoz surely can reject.. they didn't even answer to my request, be happy they answered to you.. =)

i am sure google has found it already. about linking in BG from here - sorry, doesn't support... but this is english site, so linking should be in english. linking from BG sites to yours should be in BG. this is how you know: https://www.google.com/search?sugexp=chrome,mod=3&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=site%3Apvc-dograma-bg.com or search in google for site:pvc-dograma-bg.com
