Personally I love TDV and his mixing is utterly flawless BUT it does not age well.
I love hard house but its tough...it sounds so dated..

Next week, Warren - Prague.

i didn't know he died, what happs? i wasn't a big fan though, i think both TDV and Tel Aviv were a weird choice for the first GU, if not irrational...

Died in 1998 of AIDS

It was the best choice at the time because it was Tony, who was a legendary deejay in 1996 plus he drew the people to buy the stuff.
His mixing is flawless and the energy his sets have.

well, that could have been... true.. i can't really know, cause back then i was just seriously getting to know electronic dance music, yep, '95-97 was my period of Hard Trance, breaks, d'n'b and, most of all, JUNGLE. reel2real, roni size, and other bass headz... =) percussion was my idol.. =)

anyways, i've only found our about GU after moving to usa in 2001, my first one was deep dish - moscow, november 2001.. that cd changed my world.. people throw these words around alot, but i am serious - it changed my life. but maybe i should save this, bottle it up for a few months, until you reach 21st gu... =)
