Andy, munkyn and others... It was really quiet back then... Check some of the gaps between answers, weeks and sometimes into months, dead!!!!

The day to day banter is a breath of fresh air and the music talk is a one...

I only pity Andy's place in the home pecking order.... I think he needs promotion... How about it?

Slightly off topic I know.

Dan

I was asked by Mallam to leave the site we all were on and I instantly said yes. Before he even told me, what site it was, which by the slackers standards was a few weeks later and even for him, it was early.

I only ever asked that I could basically have few rules and then post my heart out and I have had fun. To me, this site is really about the torrents but I have tried to add a sense of community here with the forums where we can discuss music (which is why we are here).

I enjoy looking back at all the GUs, Renaissance, soon to be balance if I can be arsed. To me, its fun to look back with others who tend to like the same music that you do.

but 5 posts for 1000 pts. LOL...I'd have posted 50 and told Slash to give me 50,000.
slash ProDanceCulture on December 5th, 2012 / post 54763
and i would have given them.. not 50k for 50 posts, but 10k, yes.

have you seen the FUN POLLZ project i started on https://tribalmixes.net? they are also featured on several sites and on tribalmixes main page. so the idea is, Either Or. two easy (or maybe not so easy) choices.. would you like to have your own section there? post your dilemmas, maybe some good will come out... =) i will set a link "Andy's POLLZ" in the "BROWSE POLLZ" menu, and you can put your own pollz and even have your say on that page...

ps. everyone's invited, if interested in such a time wasting contraption... =))

Some sort of pop-up display to inform users of forum replies could help, thoughts?

Messages going to inbox is probably the easiest solution. I have this in another forum and it helps track replies.

While this is getting pretty old, I'll still add my few cents...

The best way to track forum replies I've run into is to have a quick search button showing all the threads where I've participated in order of (any users) last post. It pushes inactive threads back and keeps ongoing topics on top. The downside is if you lose interest in a thread, but if that stuff annoys you don't play forum games (other threads tend to die sooner or later). :)
