ppl dont comment on uploads

As usual, slash got another brilliant idea .. but you must restrict posting to be one for every torrent, maybe more when other people post comments too however it doesnt make sense to comment on a set you didn't have or listen before, but it will push people to do so for downloading

Zahran .. I really respect this thing coldasice mentioned that you bring tracklists even for torrents you didnt upload .. thank you must be said here

at last I'd like to say that all of us (uploaders) sure feel so disappointed when we find no comments and voting for our uploaded torrents especially when it is snatched many times ... I just want the people here to understand that we are like one family or a closed community. there must be a little cooperation here and we have to not only share music,but also share our feelings and thoughts ... I have a strong feeling that one day this site will be the best of the best, it's one of the best right now anyway, a super site :)  

ur welcome ...really like searching 4 tracklsists its  a habbit i have...(my favorite user on the site COLDASICE) ...and most important ppl must comment so every one knows if the torrent is good or bad...thats what comments r 4 in the first place

definately you are right ... COLDASICE is one of the most active users here, and if all users are like him, this site will be totally different

ohhh & I think that your idea is pretty nice, specially for ppl with low upload speed. Some of them are desperate , so they could dwl for sharing their feelings with us :]

i think it pretty much is easy. but it is after this weekend. cause i'll have A LOT to do on friday.. most of the code is already ready, but not tested.

Yes, more comments would be very good ! But I'm in fear that most people will write something like "oh very very good - thank you" and so on or rate torrent as 5. I mostly download sets from djs which I know or I find very interesting to listen to. And then I rate in most cases 4 to 5.
I appreciate more rates too, especially when they are honest. It would help to decide between downloading one set or not. And you could find users with similar tastes etc. ...

Another point: on some days I notice many new sets. This makes downloading decision difficult too and downloaded sets need to be listened and there are many interesting new sets the next day and so on.

Bluemax is absolutely right and he talked about a very important point here, for myself -- and i'm sure that many users are like me -- The comments and ratings AFFECT my choice, for example I want to download this set and ... oh this is a very nice once too but shit my ratio isn't so good or I dont have eough disk space so I have to choose one of them, what will I do next, of course i will take a deep look at comments and ratings of both sets and choose the better ..... PLEASE ... ALL OF YOU users .. it doesn't take so much time and effort to HONESTLY vote and comment on every set you download , listen or even if you know it cause you already have it ... this will help us(uploaders) alot and give us confident too

I"ll try to respond a bit more to the torrents in the future, but the problem is that it useually takes quiet a while before I actually listen to the set, cause I'm like way behind on my set. it can take several weeks before I hear them and by then torrents are like on the tenth page and I don't see the use in commenting anymore.

You are right, but maybe you can just take a general idea about every set you download, sometimes I comment before I listen when I check the track list and the tracks order, but honestly I did this in the track packs only, a live set is not only a track list but it's how these tracks are mixed together, the good DJ is the one who makes you feel that the whole set is just one track

That's the point I tried tp figure out at the end of my post. But maybe we can go ahead for a set discussion which makes it interesting to keep comments over weeks alive.

Just a little idea: Fist I like the design of tribalmixes pretty much. And to force users with low ratio for comments is a good way. Maybe this can be improved if there's an information box which contains newest comments on torrents (just say 5 torrents ?). Or maybe better or as add on torrents with most comments. Then you could see with a few clicks what is up to date on tribalmixes mind/community ...
