If I have to justify why this is the best GU of the series then I certainly will but it speaks for itself, especially CD 2.

Cd2 of this cd put Sasha into the select league of immortal djs.

Without a doubt Andy the closing track is just mind blowing!

What is everybody's favourite part of this compilation? The two BT and Junkie XL tracks on cd are big tracks for me. I loved BT back in that era...

In my opinion GU 13 is one of the best compilations of all time. A perfect theme along with tight mixes makes this a true musical journey rather than tracks played off a jukebox.

Epic, just relived the album today, to and from work... .

The irony is as follows

I decided to start this series, a long way back on the evil empire but got no responses or little. On TM here and as we have been going, we are getting lots of responses but the ironic thing is that since I started doing these, I've pulled out the GUs (because I have 1,3-39) and all the nubreeds, prototypes and lights out) and started to relive what made them so special to all of us. Its a shame that GU is dead and GU040 will never come, they are have not released one in nearly 2 years :( but its great to relive the great times

yeah, this was an epic one. sasha + ibiza just the sound of these 2 words makes me salivate...

Oh man what a great compilation!  This 2 disc set had a certain special sound and feel to it.  Hard for me to pick a best GU but this is special indeed.

As for Global Underground, are they really dead?  What happened to them?
