the point that richie aka rich_tee made and craddock and munkyn all made in a previous thread on the previous board was that it does not age well. Hard House was amazing and so was TdV, he played with so much energy and his mixing was top notch but this does not age well.

you mean anything good is short? it always been like that

i only mean that hard house always sounds dated.

awesome DJ and had the fortune to see him on numerous times...even went to this funeral as well!
these tracks sum up TDV...in my eyes!!!

quality (classic) hard house when I used to frequent Sundissential and Sundissential North (Leeds)... such good memories!!!

Defo mate... for me when I went to hard house clubs... TDV, Nick Rafferty, Andy Farley, Anne Savage, Lisa Lashes and not forgetting TDV;s protege fergie all rocked in back in the day, now though or for a long time its nothing special....shame really as I used to love it...doesn't sound the same now or good at all!!!

yeah, he means that today hard house doesn't sound the way it did back in the day.. although looking at dj mag top 100 - hh djs are still making it to the top, i think, like Headhunterz, and similar.. i only liked hard house when happy hardcore was big, like late 90-s.. it was nice to switch from h-hardcore to hard house, and back later, but never a big favorite..
