a judge wrote:
Decent DJ skill, mixes are all in-key; The mix tries too hard to "blow the roof off" resulting in a feeling of trying too hard, especially toward the middle and continuing through to the end; Rather commercial tracks, although being non-vocal they're as not easily recognizable at first listen.

Thanks for listening y'all.  Albeit negative judging, I'm still glad I participated.  I can definitely understand where the judges are coming from, partially that last 2 second loss of music resulting in the end, and I guess I was more interested in spinning something I'd like to hear (if only mixed by a better DJ), rather than what the crowd (all of you guys) wanted to hear.  Judges, thank y'all for spending the time to listen to my set, as well as everyone's sets.  It's nice to get feedback from someone other than my friends that listen to 'techno' and "love it" (they like the electronic music genre, thinking I have 'skills' (ha), yet they lack the taste of refined EDM) and can put me in place.  I'm actually quite surprised that I wasn't last place, nor 2nd to last!  Also, be prepared to listen to another aurally horrid set next year..   = ]
