I don't read anything during registration anymore, it's just always the same, choose username, choose password, give eMail, confirm eMail, have fun. I'm what they call "poweruser(s)" in the internet though, so I may become very active if there's a reason to.
Can't believe what I've read on this site, are these live-music-torrents really legal? Will seed what I downloaded for the whole next year regardless, because I just wanna give back, and music is imo there to be lived, loved and also shared, but if it were legal, I could change a lot of things on my profile and similar. I'm also making videos sometimes, I ask myself if a site like youtube would be ok with it, if I took music from this site as background, does anyone know anything about that?
And does somebody maybe have a recommendation for an excellent deep vocal house dj? I listened mostly to tech- and progressive-house aswell as electro until now, but got hooked up on a really good track Sasha played in the UMF show that features his Bali set.

not legal, but not illegal either. if someone asks or threatens, we take stuff down, otherwise there's no clear law about exchanging personal recordings of live radio. or maybe we are just telling ourselves these things..

Fixed all remaining Hit & Runs by adding the Artist "Sascha Funke" and the Clubs "Berghain" + "Rote Sonne" , first two Berlin, 3rd one Munich, while adding some photos and descriptions to them. Couldn't believe, that the biggest techno-club in the "techno-capital" Berlin didn't have a description. Make sure to look at the Photos, I think even you will find them great, and inform yourself on Sascha Funke, he's "the best" (again couldn't believe, that he didn't have a profile here already) , he's the right person to lift you up when you're completely down, love him for that.
This community system is really great, thought fixing 200 Hit & Runs would take more than 2 days of seeding and some writing and assembling pictures :) .
Will check out Levente, now that my account should work fully again *yay* .

Listened to Levente, like him, but he's not 100% what I search for. What infected me was the track "Hey now" by London Grammar in the Sasha version, if you don't know that yet, it's from last year. The original Band is very deep and emotional Indie, but Sasha makes it faster and more dance like, which I like even better.
I search something similar. Levente is deep, but too slow for my taste, and he too often has male singers that sound really pathetic imo. I search something that is more like "I remember" from Deadmau5, Hellraiser from Xenia Beliayeva (that one's really dark *lol*) , or Playing the Angel from Depeche Mode (James Holden Remix) .
I know this is very specific and probably very difficult, so tia.

Listened to another set of Levente, much better than the one I listened to first, but still too much in the direction of chill-out. Almost thought I hear Jose Padilla, though it's a little more housy.

i like levente's sets a whole lot. he had one track released on nick warren's renaissance cd.
i can't really talk track-wise, cause i only care for the mixes, for the mixing, for the whole thing, so i very very rarely look up a track..
you've been weirdly unexposed to good progressive and deep house. probably not familiar with tribal house or dark progressive?
anyways, maybe MK (Mark Kinchen) or Jamie Jones would do the trick for you... there are usually previews on torrents, so not have to download always..

Regarding the tracks, I thought you'd simply google them, they're all available on Youtube, and as they're masterpieces of very famous DJs, you'd really miss something, if you wouldn't have listened to them at least once. Even if they're not your style, you should find something you like in them, because they're from very high artistic quality, that's what I pay attention to greatly, because I play 3 instruments myself.
And yes, I don't really know that much, I only know very specific DJs and from them, a lot. I'm not really a member of "the scene" yet, because I always am hesitent, to join any groups. My way went from getting to know Berlin-techno because my friends gave it to me, and I continued further with DJs like James Holden, Nathan Fake, Deadmua5 or James Zabiela, who are so famous, that it's impossible to get around them, if one has interest in electronic music. I probably don't know the most of the genres you mention, but I'm always willing to learn something new, so if you have any specific tips for them too, I'd be really happy, just remember, that what I search for is high artistic quality, I get angry, when someone confronts me with something that simple, that I can analyze it completely in 2 seconds, that's also why the "deep" genre is my favourite, I get happy, if a track confronts me with so many things to hear, that I need to listen to it hundreds of times, before I really understood them.

no. not weird. what's weird is having those 4 names in 1 group... why Deadmau5, may i ask? the tattooed arrogant fuck from the usa that only plays his own tracks and is deeply proud of it? the 3 other names - top choice, i agree, but how did the maus get in there?? lol..
as for tracks, there's a section there.. if you want to educate others on good music, it's customary to submit them there.. or in forums. i am sure i've heard all the tracks you mentioned, just never knew what they were called. as i said, i'm really into mixes, tracks don't really interest me as singularities. i know i might miss out on stuff, and due to this fact, tracks are "not well represented" on tribalmixes, i mean, tracklists are posts maybe in 20% of the torrents. and they are text mode, no database of them, nothing, so no charts can be done, nothing like that. it is a big part of current EDM scene. and maybe tribalmixes is seriously missing out on some good traffic because of this, but again... i am not into tracks myself.. hope this doesn't sound weird.. =)

Maus is a great artist, he composes his music completely on himself, and also makes it completely himself, that's something I respect, that's much more difficult then playing records of other people. I saw him the first time last month, and he was not what I expected, but I don't care how anybody looks. I don't like, that he doesn't pay attention to the lyrics of a song i. e., but the songs he produced, are mostly very high quality and have a unique style, that can only be found when listening to him. I have a very good music system at home (a PA) , and his music, though one would not think it and doesn't hear it on a standard stereo system, is really complex, there are really very very small things to hear in it, so he puts a lot of work in every track. I understand, that you don't like him for his arrogance, but arrogance sometimes is necessary to defend onesself, I don't know if he is too arrogant, for that I don't know him enough.
Thx for saying the other 3 are top choices, I think so too. I always wonder, how DJs like Armin van Burren or even Tiesto can be so popular, to me their music sounds totally flat, though I know what people enjoy, when listening to them.

armin works hard and tiesto does too. working hard to.. promote themselves.. this is how they are popular. and don't forget in search of sunrise series by tiesto. he recently changed, but 15 years ago i was really enjoying his music..

Never liked Armin or Tiesto, always thought they were a bag of spanners right from the start...train of thought has been constant on these two and will remain so...only accolade they deserve are social media pop sellouts..trance was long dead beofre they jumped on the bandwagon...they continue to show their woeful prowess playing to idiots with no understanding of electronic music or the underground

concur with Slash on this...if you want to re-educate yourself on good underground music...tribalmixes via tm-radio.com showcases the best selection of underground progressive that I know of anywhere...it does seem you have missed the boat on good prog...some of my favourites include: -

Registered here a few months ago, and downloaded a lot. Ofc. didn't read any FAQs or guides, not because of bad intentions, just wasn't used to it. Came back to this site once the downloads stopped and saw that I have a "real" Hit and Run problem (200 torrents were marked as Hit and Run
TY for this great site, looking forward to becoming a good member. Don't think everybody that downloads a lot in the beginning without seeding is a bad guy, some also just cannot distinguish a usual torrent-search-engine from a torrent-community-site that comes with its own rules.
