The Essential Mix is not what it was once, think all the deejays that you didnt like that got EMs but still no Hybrid, no Omid 16b....shall I continue?. So the last few months, we have had some decent ones Ten Walls, Subb-AN, Apolonnia, among others, then we go Kutski

working on radio1 has its perks. like, for example, getting onto the essential mix even if you have no right or reason to be there...

I don't ever  entertain Radio 1 anymore...so i don't care who plays, however I seem to remember him being some two bit nobody wannabe in the afternoon show type twat... Andy stop wasting your time and effort on what the bbc might or might not do...

let me save you some time.. the Esssential mix was good back in the day, its shit now and will continue to be shit...they're no more Esssential or otherwise mixes worth listening too, move on and stop hoping for in vain for them to bring it back, its not going to happen.....EVER
