Very true...however I've applied decentralization to most components of my online life...currently have my own

cloud server - www.owncloud.com
mail server -  own postfix mail server with a relay (bye bye gmail, all free webmail services)
FTP/file server
sync server - bittorrent sync

I'm a little confused, at this point, it just searches public trackers? The movie studios seem to go after peers on newer movies on public trackers right quick. I don't mess with public trackers at all.

Exciting concept, though.

not whatsoever... I run Debian/postfix with a free domainname (dyndns.com) and use mandrill.com as a mailrelay (12k emails a month - free)
