seeding limitation?, page 1

Hey all, I frequently get an issue whereby I'm seeding 50+ torrents, and a day or two after the start most torrents fail with tracker returned 404... What sucks even more is that if I do suspend all and next resume all I still hit a 404 on most torrents... Which prevents me from seeding.
My wild guess would be that 404 would be result of some anti ddos protection that limits amount of simultaneous connections per second or something of this nature, is there anyone who could look into this please?

Exactly the same thing happens to me!!! I have about 10 things seeding now but if my PC crashes and I have to reboot when I come back to my UTorrent or before this it was BitTorent I was seeing the dreaded Red 404 error messages and had to abandon these torrents that were seeding.
This has been a regular occurence for 6 months now and my Share Ratio has plummeted to the point where I am only just about allowed to download torrents. Trying to build my Share Ration up but its a long slog. Its a real shame as I want to seed and help as tribalmixes has improved my life bx 10x due to now having an ipod full of amazing sets! :-P

hey hey, don't be making up stories, both of you.. FREQUENT ISSUE??? or just happened last night and maybe won't happen again? there was a bit of a problem there for the past 15-20 hours seeding releases, not torrents, only releases. there are no such protection measures in place, we defend against ddos attacks differently, on hardware level almost, i mean, ddos attacks get stopped before their requested pages are processed by php..

maybe your end has some kind of ddos protection, or limits outgoing connections or something? maybe need to look into FLOOD CONTROL settings in your torrent client? or something like that?

i know it's easy to assume it's the site's fault.. but have you thought that tracker is processing at least 10-15 peer communication requests per second, and filtering you out to stop your 100 peers, that are most likely spread out by client into several groups of 10-15 torrents per group and announced on tracker that way...  why do i seed 3500 torrents right now and all of them were fine starting, none had 404?
