Toronto Festivals SUCK ASS

Its just before I leave for work, so I'm venemous as usual

Anyway toronto festivals suck ass...here is why

Sensation White - 125 bucks + taxes - Rogers Centre - June 1st

They refuse to release the DJ List and had this at the HUGE Rogers Centre, which is a baseball stadium that seats 55,000. So its huge and expensive....there are seats at 250...for ONE FUCKING NIGHT!

Veld Festival - August 3,4

Was UTTER shite last year and still UTTER SHITE this year. Tickets are about a 100 bucks.

Think of this utter trash lineup with 4 exceptions

So I have decided because its going to be at least 200 bucks for the night for sensation, even if they get decent deejays. Other one, I am not setting foot near...love to see the 3 of them but for that price...fuck that!

See Marcel Dettmann for a 5hr set on the 25th for 25 bucks. Then grab money to buy steaks and have some great meat and I can buy a decent amount and then listen to my own choons and have fun weekends

Rogers stadium aka the skydome!!! Massive venue and sounds like a bag of wank line up...l do recall going and sitting in a restuarant high up....as a venue great for baseballl ..sensation white is terrible even without those nobodys

I'd love to know the lineup for Sensation, considering I already bought my tickets... but, as they answered on their Facebook page, music is just one part of the show and a big emphasis is placed on presentation and whatnot. I'm just curious what it'll be like and hopefully there's at least one big name headlining.
Markus is going to Guvernment for a solo set, except Guv is the shittiest club on Earth. We need more events at Sound Academy.

Markus Schulz is the shittiest deejay on earth. Anyone at the Guv is trash now....its too many sketchpads and asians who take drugs and dance in circles bouncing into people

Sensation at the Rogers Centre? Give me a fucking break. Its a huge venue and not the greatest for anything other than football, baseball or the huge concerts with u2 and the like. Its a HUGE venue...sensation wanted say 32K ppl. ACC would have been a better venue, its smaller and right next door!...

I'm waiting for Marcel Dettmann at Footwork in May....not a big club and great stuff

I miss System Soundbar (RIP!). It was a great small club in a concrete basement with a huge soundsystem. Plus it only fit a 1000 people at a time, so it was a great groove. Its hard for me to go clubbing anymore because I work in retail and when great deejays show up, we end up working like 7 days a week, Its some nights like 2-10, next day 10-6...just no time to do much anymore...it pays the bills though...plus I have a wife
