moocowdanstar Moderator on September 7th, 2012 / post 51940
I still like his work to this present day.

Although i don't have as much of his music in comparison to 12  years ago, i still hold him in high regards. i respect this dj as he has stuck to his passion and original music style instead of following the "crowd"

He was part of one of the most memorable nights of my life.  :-D

New question for today?

Andy P

Mixriot Andy P or Tribal Mixes Andy P?

I think the Mixriot version had more swearing and more arguments, but the TM version does better work in the forums

Last time I saw him was at Homelands, years ago...saw him at Gods Kitchen in Birmingham when it first started... trance was falling off a cliff.. same time as wank filled Oakenfold as well...which is a massive shame.... get a hair cut Oakie and get back from your fantasy life in the land of the free and shit music!!!

For me he is the only dj I have ever been to stop and chat to and get more than a "hello' from....

A really nice guy who i would say is very down to earth. I have enjoyed all his shows from that night onwards...

Watch out Munkyn word is he is about to release the werewolf again....

Paul Van Dyk is still plugging away.... Trance just does 'nt do anything for me nowadays (sorry Oakey) fair play to PVD for sticking at it... Forbidden Fruit, Beautiful Place, from the seven ways album ought to remain in 1996/97... where they belong... In fact TRANCE     Belongs back there.... Just memory's  ... good one's though! Each to their own though I guess??

I rarely listen to trance anymore besides JOOF, CL and Byran Kearney. I listened to a real variety of music at times anyway. Heck my ipod classic is a perfect example. I love music period, cannot just be EDM cuz you got the sinatra, the classical, the jazz...

PvDs last great artist album was out there and back. I feel he tried too hard to push boundaries with reflections.

I loved the raw emotion, his sets and music had. Its not that way now, its all vocal driven. Back in 1999, it was good vocals but emotional shit.

Seven Ways still does it for me, I play that lots but Out There and Back still is a musical journey and that is the way I think music should be. The other deejays have moved on, like 12 years on and so has the scene, but back then the scene was not as crowded with utter shite as it is today.

Above and Beyond and MOS along with Matt Darey, Emery, O'Bir among others....sighs

I just want quality!, is that too much to ask?
