I know that the radio shows all have some talk and announce during the mix just what show you are listening too, but the radio show identifying lines in Hernan Cattaneo's Resident sets bother the heck out of me. They seem to happen way too often, and are way too disruptive. Makes me mad as the music is excellent.

i am noticing myself too listening to those episodes only once... i gotta hear them, but i don't wanna return to them...

maybe we should address hernan on this issue? he must be upset too.. if not upset, then at least aware of the public opinion on that.. broadcast it on the radio the way you want to, but give us a clean goddamn podcast..

This is the first time I have addressed it. His sets are great but the announcements are like a big f'n bump in the road when trying to take a journey in Hernan's music.

For me its the reason I don't listen to Hernans show, I can't stand loads of adverts and sound bites, it should be like Frisky radio, at the start and at the end, thats it

It's bad enough that it's only one hour these days, but we ought to get a version via iTunes or something that doesn't have more than 3 or 4 jingles in 60 minutes. Preferably none of course.

JOC's was terrible....jingle every 2 mins....lol

I understand the need for people to listen to music with the odd jingle to support the radio but the essential mix at times was terrible.

Yep, I ith coffeemug on this, we shouldn't have to waste time rediting mixes... thats why I won't listen to his show, annoys the shit out of me...I don't have time for that whatsoever, it goes to show how good the mixes are when theres no soundbites or stupid ass DJ's bleeting on...a good example is the EM 94 pack I just uploaded, absolutely stellar and very quietof tong and his BBC crap!!!!!!

A while back on Mixriot I edited an old Sequential show of HC's and it end up about 104 minutes long instead of the normal 2 hours!!

Needless to say it was a total pain to do it and I never did it again.
