no we cannot say that
1)Most of the deejays do not have the extensive and amazing library of releases that PvD had
2)His music is a defining part of most people's lives (mine included)
3)Certain deejays I wanted to throw under the bus, I could not because they got the career back in the groove i.e Sander K (amazing from 2000-2004, shite from 2005-2009 and got better from 2009 on...

yes, we can. noone talk for most of the djs here, we talk about those who pointed the direction at some point or another for someone or another, and yes, 99% of them gone shit, and the phrase got better from...on dont suit me as amazing do. SK is good enough for you now? OK, but not for me, sorry.

I liked him in the 90s when he came to prominence, however as trance fell apart so did he...I think the last time I saw him was at Homelands @ Mattersly Bowl...after that I drifted away.. definitely a has been and should team up with Oakenfold in the US and bore them to death with their long sighted view of good house music!!

Where shall I start (caution I may write a book).....
Power van Duk or Matthias Paul was a really amazing deejay and producer from the beginning. The Green Valley EP or 45rpm gets it started. It was fantastic shit....among most of his output from the mid 90's. You have the ultra amazing Seven Ways with the favorites...forbidden Fruit and beautiful place, never tire of them. He was really pushing the envelope then...such emotional trance that took you to places. My personal favorite was Out There and Back, which truly is a journey for the senses. The remixes for Synaethesia, Cream, 1998 were top class. He kept going and going with amazing shit then it fucking died....well went into death mode. You had the weird but PvD trying to expand with his next album in 2004. The latest album was shite and the most current album has pvd trying to go on the vocal trips
His sets were amazing but then after 2004, it started to go pete tong....
He is a legend but he has seen better years.
