Season 2 is based on the second book - A clash of kings.

there are 5 books in the series 6 and 7 are expected to be rlsed.

I am currently on book 2, i am an avid reader, but dam the books are take forever to finish

anyways, if you havnt seen the show, read the book first i recommend it. if you have seen the show and are caught up, leave the show for a few weeks and pick those books and start reading, believe me you will enjoy the hell out of it

edit: something that would be daunting to readers is that you would jump around the characters a lot that you almost forget some stuff. i do ( i have a weak memory)

Lets discuss the series here, if ppl start talking about spoilers and stuff, i can edit the title and add spoliers in it, waiting for you to start yaping  

not watching it, got enough on my plate these days, plus all the favorite shows too... but maybe i;ll check it out some day..

have you read the book? I dont know the river, i will check the show out

took me almost 2 months to finish the 5 books, and to tell you the truth it was a lot of reading.

its a good tv show and even a better read
