FYI filesonic changed their policy, therefore the links don't work anymore...

They serve a purpose, but aren't reliable at all

Got to say, I'm not happy about the US feds taking down megaupload.

I lost a stack of (legal) sets I was hosting on there and a load of photos.

Not sure I can trust my data to a cloud host anymore. A bit like banks. I think I'll store all my tunes in a sock under my bed along with my wonga.

For me the cloud is a load of bollox, don't trust any of them with anything of value... hence the web/FTP server mate which is on all the time...I have a cloud with one.ubuntu.com 5Gb free, but its stuff I have copies of and don't care about!!!

never used those shitty sites for anything personal. never will. better send myself an email and check it when i get "there".. =)

alot of people got hurt in this shit, alot of sites turned into useless pages: megaupload took down, filesonic, wupload, fileserve changed to 'you put it - you take it' policies, but some sites still finding ways, like mediafire offers to pay for bandwidth they'll waste on your files being downloaded, or want you to register, and then offer torrents to download as well... its still crazy out there,..
