hehe.. before i forget, how about this: we make an OFFICIAL list of users whose upload speed exceeds, say, 250Kb/s or 2mbps, and who seeds some few (hundred of) torrents, like vfr, espresso, superseed, me, who else... anyways, this is strictly on your own will, cause then all files you're seeding will have 'mega fast download' sign on them, telling people that one of the official fastest uploaders is seeding this torrent (maybe along with others, who cares, he/she him/herself will provide like 200Kb/s download speed for the person - which is pretty good, even if official fastest seeds this torrent alone)... also could make a page collective of all fastest users seeding right now same like torrents page, only with fewer seeders, cause only the fastest will be there, but then 3-4 seeds on a torrent from this page will mean your download speed will probably get to its highest... we could also mention that this given "fastest" is only good for fast download for Bulgaria or i dunno, i mean when someone has very big speeds of Bulgarians they 'suddenly' upload torrents to each other in seconds with 10-20mbps speeds... those also could be on the list, of course with note "BG only here", same if some other users have high-high speeds for their own countries or even provider networks (nets bigger than your local dorm web-net)..

so yeah, if anyone is interested, please post here some of your specs... we'll be looking for at least 2mbps upload speeds, 75% of the time seeding client must be on and seeding - at least 18hrs a day, must seed at least a 100 of torrents at all times, but this last one isn't so important, seed older stuff or brand-new torrent acquired through to be set channels of spreading new megapacks before their actual upload to tracker specially for "the fastest" to help seeding it, that'll all be true one day and possible, working and operational, in the meantime, please submit your applications here, put [speed up/down international and local, same for all countries or for local only, time spent online daily and time client is seeding, torrents seeding usually, clients used to seed, well, any motivational speeches could also be included in here. users i've mentioned above do not need to post anything, just their confirmation of some desire to be included in this.

Guys i fall a little short in the speed department, About 1 Mbps shared connection. But i do fill the rest of the criteria.

Okay guys right now I got 2Mbps connection, but by the end of the week I am changin my provider and my net speed will be 34Mbps which is like both upload and download = 4-5 MB/s :)

Well the Max speed of uploading for me is not more than 112 kbps   but I'm sure that it's one if the fastest in Egypt

Although I get around 1 mbps on a speed test, as it can be seen above in a real upload (no download during that time) a can have 2% of 100 mbps = 2 mbps with higher peaks.

And I hope to have 20 mbps.

isn't it the max speed of your network card? has it to do with your internet speed?

The Link speed is the max speed of the connection (Network card - although I have 1 Gb also) and it is 100 mb/s = 100,000,000 bits/s or most probably 100 Mb/s = 102,400,000 bits/s.
It is seen on the Networking tab of the Windows Task Manager window that the speed of the (outbound - I have said there was not specific download) traffic fluctuates around 2.25% of 100 Mb/s which is no less than 2.25 mb/s.
You can trust me the traffic goes to Internet not to another computer in the LAN.

i understand what you mean. i've got a wrong idea from that post, i thought you meant your internet connection was 100mbps, but you simply meant that since Network Utilization is 3% on 100mbps, than your speed is most likely 3mbps at that time, if only uploads were active and no downloads, cut that confirmation packets.

anyways, i don't see interest in this... i guess, people will download desired torrents no matter fast or slow.. i know i don't really care for speed.. not now - in an hour, not then - who cares, tomorrow i'll still be here...

and this thing means kbps, not Kb/s, so it's 500Kb/s. i've had same results with an server in IL, but then i tried servers in states far from IL in that test, and couldn't really go over 250-300Kb/s
