Suggest your (interesting) Main Page Poll questions & ideas

slash ProDanceCulture on July 16th, 2008 / post 26209
hi hi hi

today the Main Page Poll (MPP) was finally raised from the ashes and settled right back onto the main page. as some of us might remember, MPP was dumped before for the reasons of being a no-good-thing, when we didn't want to read the question, just answered for our favorite djs, since that time it has come to belief that DJ Balthazar from Bulgaria regularly plays music of every edm genre, from trance to breakbit. anyways, to make this story shorter, here's the thing: if you've ever wanted your question on the MPP, submit it here, - we'll see what can be done. questions can have up to 20 selections of answers. thanks and good luck!!

Should uploaders be required to list the recording source of their upload?  (For example, if the uploaded set is a crowd recording, he/she must state so; if the set is a soundboard recording, he/she must state so; and so on.

A) Yes
B) No

(Slash, I ask this question because I've heard some TribalMixers voice their frustration after they've downloaded a large set only to discover the sound quality is terrible and therefore a waste of their ratio points.)

Thanks for your time.  :-)

a top for the uploaders would be nice... to see who gets the most votes... who is apreciated the most :-D don't you think so too?

I was thinking, what if we had a poll question regarding the idea of having tracks as WELL as having sets available for up/download on this website?  or would that be illegal?
slash ProDanceCulture on August 4th, 2008 / post 26446
that would be illegal. next?

i think such a poll would bring more negative outcome than positive, because most of the uploaders would not get first spot, some hard working veterans could get discouraged, need more reasons?

I think that a Power user MUST be promoted when his upload is at least 52 GB, have at least ratio 4, posted 52 comments and 13 forum posts! And is registered at least 39 days ago!  :-D  :-D  :-D

13+13=26
26+13=39
39+13=52  :-)

I concur with Mileschris re detail concerning recordings and would also like to suggest some info about whether or not it should be stated that a mix is uninterrupted and/or amount of voiceover. The latest Steve lawler (Live at Space Closing 05.10.08) is full of chat.

I suggest that .

Before IDC09 ,  to start a little competition between all unknown dj's who want's to getting play in IDC09 .

Competition program :

1.Every Unknown dj  must mix and upload only one set.
2.In Users Chart , all users have to download , listen and rate every set who get it.
3. In the Final process they must choose 5 Unknown DJ's , who'll create a (First User's Favour Unknown DJ Dream Team  or FUF-UDDT as an example)  one of the team's in IDC09 .
4.In Category "Save the Last Dance" , user's  take a chance to 5,10,(that enough)...Unknown DJ's get in to IDC09  DJ's List  or create 1 or 2 different  Team .
5. In this way , the user's make a own Tribalmixes User Team and have a "right to judge" who they want to listen in IDC09 Unknown DJ List .

Result:

1. Less disappointing user's.
2.Listen a music , different opinion .
3.May be  , rise a star.
4.What we do until start a IDC09.

that's some really crazy stuff, crocodile. djs just need to make teams and register on time. that's it. maybe all 20 teams will be filled within 1hr from the opening of registration, who knows, so prepare and wait for more exact dates and stuff.

current poll about ;lineup of idc09; - it's more for the teams and djs as future idc09 participants to think about... you know, if people want more famous and infamous, right, then a team made by someone like Alejandro Rado playing tribal, invited JD or JZ w tech or house mix and someone completely unknown bedroom dj playing a hot trance or minimal mix - that would mean a strong team, i guess. or a team of 3 new/unknown djs. or a team of 1 known to us and 2 world famous would make it great.. it's all about the strategy and genres and other stuff...

yeah, how about next poll we try to give idc09 planning participants how much and which music styles we like best. again, right?.. it's a good poll, always brings fun! =)
