Skipping and silence gaps in sets

Hey guys, I'm new to the site and I've downloaded a couple sets from here but they all skip a lot and have some silence gaps here and there.

Does this happen to anyone else? what can be the cause of this?

I have very few problems with the sets downloaded from TM. Especially i have not come across silence gaps.

You may want to check your media player???

this is REALLY weird, but this is not happening anymore. The only reason I can think about is because I had Bittorrent open and downloading stuff as I listened to the sets?

I simply dont know the reason why this happened, but it happened on several occasions on different days.
