Bill Gates was talking about this new (box) in D5 with Steve Jobs, in this interview, I had to respect this guy more than I did before because after all, he is a good guy and contributed alot in the software industry

well, what you just have said is a fact and who denies a fact is simply idiot, so I never denied this fact before :) .. Microsoft has the biggest software market share because the traditional PCs have the biggest market share, but who can say that the biggest market share is the best, you gain the biggest market share when you offer the lowest price and this is the first priority for all PC vendors, to use the cheapest material available in the market so the total cost for a one piece will be the lowest and accordingly, the reseller cost will be low and finally the end-user cost will be acceptable by most users around ... many people across the world ride Toyota and Mitsubishi but how many ride Benz and BMW and which is better a BMW ? or a Mitsubishi ? :) ... many people across the globe call Apple " The Rolls Royce of the Industry" and I believe in this actually

When Bill Gates was asked from a week "What do you think Steve Jobs had contributed to the computer industry" his answer was "Well, Steve contributed the idea itself, with the Apple II in 1976, he brought to the world the idea of bringing the computer from the big noisy rooms to the mass market, and that was the ignition"

well, it all depends from where you're looking at it.. i drive a honda, which is going to be toyota and mitsubishi, and honda's higher devision acura here in the usa goes along with bmw and benz, maybe not as much in common sense, but what the heck - there's acura nsx, - compared to ferrari and lamborgini by performance and prices... and if we were in japan, i believe, there's no acura in japan, all the acura's usa market models are manufactured and labeled as honda in japan, including the damn good nsx model. and don't forget the awesome supra by toyota, or phaeton by wv followed by maybach by (many), all kinds of power and comfort for as low as $10k or up to $500k. this is where they say "tastes differ"... and take another example... at&t was/is the company with labs that made like half of the software for x-systems, and where are they now??? running some phone/cell/inet cervices on the east cost... and their "contractor" billy owns half of the world.. and here's where the attitude goes... bill is humble enough to say apple was the mastermind, while apple stands aside from everyone and accepts this knotting their heads, - yeah, we're the rolls royce, yes we are... =)

 .. but you might notice another fact here, 6.7% desktop and 12% notebook market share is very good when compared to 2% and 3.4% in 2001, this indicates a very high growth rate .. and we feel so happy with every point we get :]
