Platinum users will have alot of unlimited rights, they will not be affected by Ratio Rules, will be able to hide their ratio or any other personal or activity info from other users, as well as the fact of their own existence. They will also automatically receive a complimentary tribalmixes T-SHIRT, to be detailed, they will be put on the list for receiving one in the nearest future, as planned for the summer - logotype shirts, hats, pens and car decals with no bumper stickers. shirts will be sent out as soon as they are designed/created and printed/pressed.. Platinum users will also be able to upload as many torrents as they want and do any mistakes they find necessary, since they will be unlimited in many ways, including these specials too.

guess why? because its a great opportunity for many users to build their future here on the board, thats why. but i cant see any replays till now. and sure its on the main page, but not many users visit it offen, so i bring this on the forums :-)

well, in this given situation, replies are supposed to be posted into the 'available funds' sum, so far there's been 1 donation of $10, including the right-before-the-event 2 donations of $10 and $15. i am going to bother everyone on their email addresses with this information for once, so do not be upset if you see a spam-looking-alike msg asking you for money. =)))

you do not need a credit card in its means (real credit card), you can easily work with a bank account and/or a checking/debit card and inter-transfer money from paypal and to paypal using those listed. same works with moneybookers.com. having a credit card isn't a must. in fact, paypal even offers their own credit card to customers, along with debit card.

as for you remark at the end, $200 is accumulative sum, meaning you would have made several donations over some time period, and their sum ends up over $200, on the other hand, a one-time donation of $100 or more will give you platinum membership.

and first donation of $120 came in just now. thanks alot to joel78.

just a little note here. since the idea of the PLATINUM MEMBERSHIP came in pretty fresh, it hasn't been programmed and implemented yet. thus it might take 2-3 days, hopefully faster than that, to go through the code and do needed adjustments here and there. please be patient and allow this little delay. thank you!!

i wish i can donate too but the same i can't use pay pal or things like this i can afford helping here by cash or paid check so is there any way we can afford the web site by this money without going on the online payment

as to everyone else, i've never mentioned this before, only a few select users knew about this option - whenever your next donation makes your total donated amount more than $100, your reward is doubled. that was a nice and handy feature for several users who have broken $100 total donations barrier in the past, and it is left unchanged for the time of the marathon. to make it more clear:

if any time you make a donation, the total sum of all your donations (including current) exceeds $100, your reward will be doubled. thus if someone donates $50 for the first time, this user gets $50*4/5 = 40GB of upload credit. if it happens so, that user have already donated $60, he/she receives 80GB of upload credit, since total comes to $110. nevertheless, a one time donation of $100 gives you 160GB of upload credit and a platinum user rank. not to mention, every donation gives you 10*amount*multipliers number of immortal points.
