I'm using utorrent and have been for years, it's by far the best one out there, does everything it needs to do and i don't even notice it running with 300 torrents seeding on my 5 year pc using max 1% CPU, 10Mb memory and 25Mb VM so definately the one to get. Easy to set everything and no connectibility issues (if it doesn't forward a port just let it randomly pick another and it'll work).

I Just tried Utorrent for a week now, and was impressed with it, but I do have an issue...

Maybe some one may help me with it?

I have moved all torrents from bit torrent to utorrent, set the Dl folders did the rechecks and all is fine...

Can some one please tell me why when I start up Utorrent, Half of my files go missing and I have to recheck them? And When Rechecked the Download locations are correct, but it can not locate the files... I do the force recheck, and then presto all files 100%.

This is happening every time I start up Utorrent. About 300 out of the 700 files I am trying to seed Need to be Rechecks for downloaded data, or actually Need to reset the DL folder it self so it can find the file... This is very disappointing. So much so I wanna go back to bittorrent for seeding all my old files, and just use Utorrent to seed the New ones I get...  :'-(

In some cases a BitTorrent application (running two is worse case) could cause the System Event ID 4226 (due to half-open connections limit).
When this event occurs the Network connection is very, very slow and even a Browser can't open a site.
Fortunately this system status is temporary.

Limited number of simultaneous incomplete outbound TCP connection attempts— The TCP/IP stack now limits the number of simultaneous incomplete outbound TCP connection attempts. After the limit has been reached, subsequent connection attempts are put in a queue to be resolved at a fixed rate. Under normal operation, when applications are connecting to available hosts at valid IP addresses, no connection rate-limiting occurs. When it does occur, a new event, with ID 4226, appears in the system’s event log.

uTorrent User Manual:
"By default, µTorrent will make at most 8 simultaneous connection attempts to work within the 10 connection attempt (half-open connection) limit on these operating systems."

To rename files isn't so difficult as you think.
