Those were the days, page 1

Someone please take me back to the 90s.. HMV every weekend digging out the hit list of albums to listen and purchase.. then just because the Essential Mix was on and you had possibly ran out of TDK90s, pick up a cheeky 3 or 5 pack at the till to cover you in case there was no TDK120 to hand come 2am This album takes me back too...Ibiza style..

how old are you ??
They were great days - but think about how much time that took to gather your favourite tune or mix. It used to take me a month in some cases. Now its at your finger tips

I've stopped counting Dan... They were and are great days never to be forgotten, always remembered. The one that I remember listening to Tong on the Essential Selection... next day or weekend rushed out and scoured HMV (import section.. and the only real MJ track I like). By todays standards it way over the top expensive as coming it at £6.99 (circa 1990s)... I still have the single now. A great feeling once I got it..if not in the pocket.

And another one that I spent all night trashed (in Lakota, Bristol) trying to recall this one (Princess Julia was on the decks if i remember) Get up stand up... My brain capacity could only just about remember GUST... thankfully next day... or once I recovered another trip to HMV to purchase it.. you don't get that air of accomplishment when you go out and remember what you heard the night before.

Holy smokes - I was still nappies with the release of those two
I still get a buzz out of hearing familiar music when I’m at a show. Being able to identify and name the tune makes me buzz. The challenge is remembering em all to enjoy the week after the show

Beg to differ! I've been after the tune at the 50 minute mark of this Andrew Weatherall mix for ages. Considering the tracklist of this mix is still incomplete after 8 years I'm guessing he must've made the track himself and never released it. RIP Guv'nor.
