Can anyone share your Soundcloud Developers app credentials?, page 1

does anyone have a registered Soundcloud App?

I am asking because mine doesn't have REDIRECT URI specified, and without that I cannot authenticate with FamilyClub's account to provide his stream of mixes here.. asked them to update mine, but been a week already no reply.. If someone has a registered app (which can only be used by developers, it's not the soundcloud app, it's a special API access credentials thing) - please, share with me, and i will quickly restore that Soundcloud mixes page we used to have..

its weird, i know 100% i had a old API credentials, (from ages back you could register still) but somehow not listed anymore

thanks, i finally got mine updated after contacting their "support" on github. it says seriously unused apps credentials were deleted, so there's no surprise.. my app has been quite heavily used over the years, so it's functioning still. i lost a few of these apps under other accounts as well.

ah geesh, that explains why its gone then.
its shame there api program is such a mess, when there api itself is pretty good

it has actually become possible in 2026 to register a new app at soundcloud API and get new credentials. if anyone is interested in bringing back direct soundcloud downloads page - i can do that, but will not if nobody cares for it.. it is also possible now to download ~160kbps M4A using that API.. and 128kbps MP3 is actually going to be extinct soon.. if someone is interested, i know a website that is always operational for soundcloud downloads - https://mp3-sound.cloud - it works with playlists and single tracks, allows to search soundcloud as well. another method that always work is using yt-dlp [ https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp/?tab=readme-ov-file#installation ] a.k.a youtube-dl [but not really, anymore]
