Therefore, if there's an online event that is unique, like one from my investment advisor, or my school offers a guest lecture by some famous person, it's all the more. My slow internet connection makes it impossible to stream videos. As you'll see below the downloading process takes around 2-3 times as long as it should. My connection is also extremely slow. I can only watch videos with no buffering interruptions. My connection is about 30% slower than I would need. And so I've found an incredibly effective way to bypass the speed limit and save video online on my laptop so that I could watch it over and over without the need to stream it again and again, as my Internet connection can't handle this kind of load...
Here's the latest version I made. I launch Chrome browser or Firefox, Safari, or any other browser that supports inspect tab. Right-click the page, and launch the inspect page. Then, switch to the network tab and look up the video playlist file. It will usually include the extension m3u8 in the list. It could be something different. However, the characters will be present to signify the playlist you want to play for your video stream. The video stream is split into smaller files that your browser downloads and then plays in the order in which they are downloaded. This ensures that you have continuous streaming. This is how the mpeg transportation stream works. It's fast and requires more data transfer because it is a file size.
I then right-click on the playlist and copy the URL address (into the clipboard) and then go directly to the web page that I would like to download the online video. I type the video playlist URL in the input box, click submit, and I am presented with a variety of download options. These are the possible file sizes and the time to transfer. The bigger the file is more high-quality, the better. I pick a lower quality file, even if it is slow for my Internet.
I pick the file that will be downloaded. The majority of the time it's the mp4 format, which is a format for video. While it can take a lot of time however, the rewards of learning are always what keeps me going. Since I'm unable to tune in live, saving video online to my laptop is the most sensible option. This is also my method of staying up-to-date on all the latest information. It's my way of to keep my mind tickling my brain with exciting concepts, new ideas, intriguing techniques for the technological future. All of this comes to life when videos are saved and WiFi is disabled. It's worth it. Smooth video streaming, without delays or buffering.
