there will be no more new users for a while

except for when invites-system is finished and invites are actively used..

This helps to get members who are worthy and can contribute to its success. This site now with this rule joins the elite  group of sites which have similar rules.

I had an invite, but it seems to have disappeared. What's the expiration date on these?

It has nothing to do with being elite site or rules, its about great music and great people (who contribute to the music community) unfortunately when an opportunity is given to people with no input then its abused...roll  on April 19th...

I think with so many mix sites out there, TribalMixes can easily get lost in the fog.

It was one of the first back in the day and no more new users allows to further develop a tighter community.

an invite only environment works for all the best torrent websites.  Only the people that invest effort will last.
