also another great thing is that original broadcast had 256kbps audio. while youtube's versions will only have 128kbps VBR. so will share ripped audio first thing and look into youtube later.. working on video now..

i must admit, they changed the format of how they serve streams, plus replaced Madness channel with Atmosphere channel, so... my download link script only works for 2 channels, and 2 others actually now ask for a token, so per-file download becomes kinda complicated.. so i've just fed MAIN m3u8-s to ffmpeg batch and it's working fine.. does report a million of errors on each segment, but works..

youtube-dl, however, continues to give a lot of errors, but the files (from channel 1/2) plays normally.

I have those livestreamer scripts for channels 3 & 4, channels 1 & 2 via segment downloads.

jerpaa, can you tell me - what is the "segment downloads"?

And what your command for rip streams for channels 1 and 2 (I am very confused of ffmpeg errors)?

And another question: token for channel 3/4 will be change tomorrow?

segments is same thing just avoiding m3u8 files completely. look into browser inspect -> network - there you can see .ts segment files downloading to play, so most of the times those can be accessed even without m3u8 file directly. and in most cases they are sequentially numbered, you just download them one by one and then put them together even with a dos copy all into one command (for .ts files, which they almost always are)...

for example, youtube also does .ts segments, but those come with long tail parameters which cannot be avoided, while facebook somehow hides all that shit and nothing can be done there without m3u8 file.. and in current situation, we only have direct .ts files to download for streams 1 & 2.

ps. the only problem with this method can be that live broadcasts may only keep like a minute or two of the video, making it only maybe 10-15 segments sometimes, thus your downloader must be either tuned to download with the speed they serve segments, or simply wait to download files one by one. some of us use DTA (downthemall) plugin for firefox, but it requires fine tuning, cause in case it runs ahead or behind the active number of segments, it will screw up by either missing segments or running ahead and stopping everything completely.. it's an acquired taste...  last weekend i was able to download all 4 streams segmented, so i was adjusting download speed from 2800 to 2900kbps every 15-20 minutes, had to sit by computer all 3 days...
