i think youtube-dl can do it live. have you tried?

Guys, they  are deleting the streams, so I catched for you first 2 sets, but, unfortunately, Benny Rodrigues' set is not 2 hours, but 1h45m or so due to bad Internet connection at my workplace (yea, your genius doesn't do it at home because my brosdadmom could restart the comp without asking me   ). They will be ready at Monday or later.

That's the point. More and more facebook channels are deleting (or hiding) the streams immediately after the broadcast. Same was for Mayday Dortmund. Everything was videostreamed but not available on demand.

I tried youtube-dl during the live-broadcast but it didn't work.
Fortunately 3 vids are still available on demand, but I need a solution for livevideos!

he meant there's no way to capture facebook live streams while they ARE live. otherwise youtube-dl is very proficient extracting video and audio from facebook.
