When  Oakie was  a monster, now he's just a long haired twat!! I wonder if he could of seen into the future where he would end up, I wonder if he would of done the same again and disappeared into  trance  induced oblivion  

I was there, A set I will never forget ! One of the first festivals i went to & also one of my favs  

He had a headline slot after the Pet Shop Boys, Brilliant Set ... 1 of my all time best festival memories. I remember he was about a quarter way through the set, Oakey was playing all my fav tracks one after another ( Well they were at the time ) Ambassador - "The Fade"  - Ecano - "Run  - BT - "Flaming June"   The Mitsi turbo's had just taken affect & as I stood there sipping on my Slush puppy I thought HELL YEAH ...... Thank You Andy for reminding me of a 1999 snapshot that set me on the way ...........

I went to homelands at the mattersley bowl  in 98 , but never creamfields... sounds a monster set and a monster event, good times compared to now...to many charlatans and motived by money and not the music

homelands 1998 is next week shhhhhh....

This Is True ...... Shame .. However a good time can still be had at the Festivals , you just need to pick the right one.
