Not entirely true? This one was great - Paul Oakenfold - Radio 1 Essential Mix, Live from Nec , One live Birmingham 27-10-2001...... I know what you mean though ? Went downhill from there ?

I was gonna say Steve A-ok.

Other than that anything Judge Jules has done! Except the Sundissential one back in 97/98 which was 'ok'.

He actually played an even better set before Radio 1 started broadcasting, remembering steve blake -expression (signum mix or original, not sure) as one of those smashers!!!... (one for Rich, teetering on that hard house sound as I was at the time!!!

Digweed came on and smashed it even more, strange to think they both played similar styles...clearly Digweed had massive foresight aleft behind the dregs who picked up the electro/trance baton and subsequently spiralled into oblivion!!

I believe it was the signum mix. They were fucking quality back in the day....always had a chunkier bassline

Dubfire/Hawtin and Magda/Locodice was quite possibly the worst one. TOO FUCKING MINIMAL!

They said in the beginning, they had a really complex setup = TOO MINIMAL

it was just bleeps and prod for that hour. Magda and Locodice was even worse...all TOO Minimal..
