Truly awful Culture...., page 1

Things ain't what they used to be !
If they ever were over there ?

To much dilution and greed, seems its not about anything other than $
Glad I don't have to experience it, week in week out

The thing with me is, I like my music dark, dirty and I like my clubs the same way.
Just a small brick-walled mini-warehouse style club in a freezing cold city will do me.
Add a totally oversized sound system (you don't need no funktion 1 or whatever - just oversize the nuts off the system specs) and just a couple of lights and a single lazer (green is my pref).
Make the place poorly ventilated (so hot and sweaty) make the beers cold and cheap (ditto the bottled water).
That's all I ask. And a 7am finish and an after-party that starts around the block at 7.15am!
Oh and a nice chill-out room. Not festivals for me, and certainly not like the ones in the above video!

AMEN!...those were the best nights of my life. A few of those, I saw Lawler playing deep, dark, tribal and dirty in a dark and dirty small place! What times!
too bad tho, they have the big box clubs with too many people, too many overpriced things. Most of the small clubs have died because the land they sit on, is great to build residential stuff. This is what happened in my poor city. Small great little places like systemsoundbar died....so much fun to see a big name dj in a smaller club because the people who show up, love the music and the space is not wasted with lager boys, sketchpads and druggies who only go to cause trouble.
