Yeah i listen to Techno on occasions also D&B and some trance..... The thing is i just prefer house music ( deep house , tech house mainly ) Years ago I loved Trance music and would listen to nothing but Trance
hence why i have so much respect for Paul Oakenfold !!! I still find myself going back to his classic sets.... What I'm trying to say is people move on, and although i try listining to different music genres there will always be one that you describe as a favourite????

Does 'nt make a great deal of sense ?? oh well I have been drinking hic hic... On the plus side the mighty Chelsea won !

drunk or not, you completely missed the point
everytime I post anything with a list that includes techno anything, you have to slate it. My point is that you need to expand your horizons. Yes, it is your opinion but it seems that I stated earlier is that we have become too l33tist and think that anything prog house is king and everything else is trash. There are rules to this rule, like everything tiesto touches is trash but that is a proven fact.

On a serious note... i know where your coming from Andy !! Yes your right, However i still like what i like... and when you throw your opinions into the hat - I comment ... Techno, house whatever ? A lot of the time we agree, Techno for me is just ok ??? Not slating it , It depends who and what? Don't like the hard banging Techno ( Not for me ) WE could argue that John Digweed plays some Techno? that gets the

Each to their own at the end of the day i guess?????????

its not slating techno, its just keeping an open mind...which we are all to guilty of not having an open mind....tis my point.

I love Techno, listening to nothing else..
Donīt feel too much for House but in other hand

you embrace it and let it fill you with goodness
Seriously too many of the prog house elitists are too l33t to listen to anything else. Its all phases in life, I was listening to dnb nonstop for a time a few months, now it is mainly techno with a little trance and prog house thrown it. Have we become such l33t people that we clearly just decide to throw an idea out. For me, music has always been about discovering new sounds and for me, its not the common sounds. Right now, I discovered Psyk out of spain and have been getting a little into Lucy (a transplanted italian living in Berlin). Discovery is what makes music, so much fun. I discovered drumcell on my own and he was and still is, an awesome deejay. Marcel Dettmann was the same way. Progressive House should be the same way. It is just from listening to all the same deejays that make us get narrow minded. Nick Warren helped me discover lots of new artists....
so the question to leave you all with, have we all become too dependent on Seaman, Digweed, Cattaneo, Warren, Sasha, Tenaglia, Emerson, Cox and others to show us music, that we do not search out new sounds or new tunes?
