because too many arseholes worship the ground the guy walks on. Sorry...old sasha who actually mixed records himself please.

I still like his sets and going to see him for 8 hours straight next month, however I prefer his full on progressive sets from the early 2000s... think delta heavy and Twilo circa 1999... I don't doubt he has talent and still smashes it, however some of the deep ish house doesn't do it for me and I personally I prefer Digweed out of the two as he plays Techno more to my taste....more full on and fulltilit....at Bedrock 14 he showed that to the max...
Andy you're right, they're people who worship him and its pathetic. I think Nick Warren comes close and some occasions surpasses him massively as he tends to play very weird stuff, however there will be the cheeses heads who just see a name... better to be a contrarian... theres always someone else coming along and way to much choice... (and he's not going to repeat the quality of GU09 & GU13)

Andy are you out of your mind??? Pissed up??? No No No Oh dear y me..... I would nt go as far as worship ???? However Sasha is by Far my fav Dj and has been since the legendary courtyard days ( When Oakey was great ) OK I admit ... Maybe Sasha is a god... Ha ha
I Do agree with Munky though Digweed & Warren are great also... I Loved Sasha's sounds back then and more so now... Not hatemail Andy!! But in my opinion --------
SASHA = No 1

I'll admit he's not at the top of his game right now.
But he's still one of the best in his area.
Has-been is a little too harsh.
Oakey - yes
PvD - yes
Tiesto - yes
There are many.
But Sasha still delivers

I honestly do not give a shit what anyone thinks, the legend has passed into the fucking hasbeen deejays. His output is legendary, very few can match it. He has gone shit since ditching the real mixing and letting the computer do it for him.
He was the greatest at creating an atmosphere out of nothing and when he actually mixed records himself. He was outstanding and amazing, his sets prove that. Now it seems like its not made out of nothing and it just lacks that je ne sais quoi.
I shall prepare for the hatemail.
