Love classical music, listen to BBC Radio 3 a lot as a result.
Disco as well, before it became 100% electronic. And after that as well of course.
Also like certain Rock bands, classic stuff like the Beatles and The Stones and Queen, even got my old man's Shadows vinyl albums somewhere. Still listen to Pink Floyd and Fleetwood Mac.
(Slightly) more recent Rock bands I like are The Stone Roses and Blur, The Cranberries, White Stripes, Zutons, Hard Fi, Suede, Muse even REM is okay - although I prefer their older stuff. Oh yeah Coldplay as mentioned above are cool.
Don't mind a bit of Jazz either. Oh and love chill out and ambient stuff, Deep Forest, Omni Trio, Dead Can Dance etc etc.
Big fan of Simon & Garfunkel too.
I don't mind most genres, as long as those genres contain some quality.
What I don't listen to is commercial Pop, Country Music or Gospel. Or commercial dance either.

Counting Crows, Coldplay, U2 (all time overall fave), Dido, Kelly Clarkson, Radiohead (outstanding), Smashing Pumpkins, Nightwish, Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi....and on and on and on....and Mazzy Starr.

Nearly anything besides pop!
Favourites include REM, Counting Crows, Metallica, some oldies like Roy Orbison, Simon & Garkunkel and Dire Straits, then i shouldn't forget a few locals, Grinspoon, Custard and Siverchair.

as of late i've listened to too much of Maroon 5. don't even get me started on this one.. i don't like to listen to the none-edm stuff. i do like to sign it though, cause most of the shit i hear on radio and from my girl playing - is very very catchy... sign them especially when falling asleep, very helpful... while alone.. or driving..

Cooke, i am amazed.... I thought no one would have a clue who those three bands are... Daniel Johns was the lead singer and yes Natalie was his wife... Pity he couldn't make the marriage work, Natalie is cute, smart and well spoken!
