OK Here are a some of my favourites - - -
1- Kings Of Tomorrow - Dec 2004
2- Paul Van Dyk @ Columbia Halle, Berlin - July 2002
3- Luke Neville - July 2000
4- Stewart Rowell - May 2000
5- John Digweed @ The Warehouse Project - Oct 2007
6- James Zabiela - April 2010
7- John Digweed - May 2010
8- Sharam - Aug 2009
9- Circulation - April 2002
10- Sasha- May 2005
Ok so i have'nt mentioned any of Oakenfolds essential mixes as most of them are great in my opinion!!!!
If i had to choose 1 & only 1 essential mix as my fav of all time it would have to be Sasha & Maida Vale in May 2005.
Love you lots m8 but please take nothing against me, if I say something stupid.
Circulation has to rank up there because they were class before they got pissed off with the music industry and quit. They had so many releases and most were gems.
Columbiahalle was a weaker mix from PvD imo. The ending was terrible, he usually ended with Nu Nrg - Dreamland before either Solid Strings or Seven of Nine by Walder and Gelder. Guardians Of the Earth - Starchildren as well. I thought his 2000 Casino and Home mixes had so much energy.
Agree with Sasha, Sharam, digweed but kings of tomorrow, it was not the great.
Luke Neville's EM was under the radar. Heck Tongy did not even give the guy an intro. It was big tunes at the tune and now anthems.
Stewart Rowell\s EM was nasty, especially the bill hamel/taylor near the end as the double whammy.
I find another one that was overlooked was Justin Robertson from some festival, it was nasty.
James Zabiela's 2004 was the landmark especially the tracks near the end
Simply Jeff - 'Funk Delux (Elite Force Remix)' (Phonomental Music)
Scam - 'Killer' (Deepcut)
Ficta - 'Eli (Zabiela's Rave Lizard Remix)' (Global Underground)
REM - 'The Great Beyond' (Hybrid Remix)
Syntax - 'Bliss' (Wrecked Angle Mix)
Excerpts from Vanilla Sky - 'Na' (Na)
