My top 3:
1. Above & Beyond

And the new Gabriel & Dresden track is called "Tracking Treasure Down" and its an absolutly stunning track. I just love it.

I consider such rating absolutely incompetent ...because it is too much features thats cant have unequivocal estimation in work of a dj. For example... by technic 1 of the best i thinc iz a dijital maniac James Zabiela, but his compillations is not excelent(for me)...or David Guetta ....he can pump your ass like no one other, but his music is not something deep and intellegent, and sometimes is very close to cheap pop...I just wanna say that most POPullar dj is not the BEST ...

tell me one thing - why steve lawler is not the best there??? although his music to me would be the most valuable piece in the whole music scene, as for his continuous story from the beginning to the end of the mix. have you listened to what his tracks say? vocals are most of the time carefully picked to make sense while playing one after another. i haven't seen that in anyone's mixes, but in his. i didn't vote, although should have done.
i think van dyk or tiesto will get that title. house music is not trance music, which is more into people's souls with easier stuff, less heart pumping, less bass.. i'll tell you, everyone who listens to trance have someday evolved or came from trance. many keep listening to both kinds (like me), but i haven't seen someone who would turn around back to sole trance after house. so basically, most of trancers don't even listen to house music (they're just coming to understanding of it), although they make a huge chunk of voting community. sasha sits at the top too just because he doesn't hestitate to play trance once in a while. :)
and why noone called deep dish for the throne?

I really hope tiesto doesnt win agian this year.... I think hes lost his flare, I dont think ive heard one mix from him in the last year and a half that moved me in any sort or way. I dont think any of his recent productions have been very good either. Not that I dont still love him, but I think he got a little to full of himself after wining three times.
I have to agree with you Alee the most popular dj isnt the best it is after all just a cheap popularity contest, and not that you have to be good to be popular but it doesnt hurt. I just havent really seen any good things from Tiesto, Ferry, or really even PVD not that I don't still love PVD but his mixes seems to have lost that little something special they all kinda seem the same to me.
I am one of those people slash, I started out as truely a trance addict, but over the last two years or so my tastes evolved and I'm now in love with prog. house/ tribal house Lawler is absolutly amazing. Where the hell was I at all those years? I could ev been bumpin to some Lawler and been happy for ever. Thankfully Ive found him, deep dish, satoshi, g&d....wtf? I was retarded, Ive come to realize that trance is good Ill give it that, but it just doesnt tickle my soul the way house does.
I love em both, but commercial trance must die!

you're right about commercial trance - md. still many of unknown names can pretty much interest me alot, like that many unheard names i'm trying to push here. :) or say Matt Darey always plays good music. or some other djs. back in 95-96 in russia i was listening to many-times-overplayed triple cassete trance compilation, together with reel2realm(jungle) and prodigy. hehe... long time ago... anyways, now i can get whatever music i want. and i'm happy. cause house is the best. even say, progressive/tribal. just house is not enough, gotta be tribal! :) and i was writing that on my own story, although i'd opened house for myself about 4-5 years ago, when there was no tribal (i think). then over the time i've come to loving lawler, but still didn't qualify his music as tribal, and just 1-2 years ago the tribe found its leader - lawler it was - and since that he's the king of my head. :) but! i also love and admire chus, ceballos, saeed, calderone, julian poker and some other great tribal heads.

I Tiesto wins this year again, that meens that all of them, who woted for him, don't have any clue what techno and in this case, tech-trance, means. Dj's like him are constantly repeating themselves, and all they do is watching the BPM, and a little bit of echo, flanger and so on. They are nothing else but luzes, mungoti!!!! you can make music like that on your computer on a basic Dj decks....
Show that you LOVE techno....wote for a Dj who really know what techno is!!!
