you mean, that's when he started using ableton alot?

the EM was a killer, for sure. i can't say progressive house is going down the slope, no, there are alot of great prog house djs, but that was the time of the MOST activity on the EDM scene. and the most interesting times, too.. before in 90-s there was no strong separation of styles, 2000-s did bring clarity to that mess, and mid 2000-s were the best. in my opinion. not cause now is worse, that's not the point, but the fact that now all this electro and dubstep went mainstream.. duh.. gimme back my time machine!! lolz.. or tears.. dunno which emotion is better to describe my current feelings..

Your right it was me... And this dj set was to completely change/transform things as we know it!!
THE DAY DJ WENT DIGITAL! Recorded at the Maida Vale studios in London using the Abelton live software, which at the time was groundbreaking.. I remember listening to this set ( i think it was May bank holidsy ) and thinking WOW!!! Needless to say it won essential mix of the year & in my opionion Is still the best essential mix yet to be recorded. The set is seamless & this was only the start of things to come for Alexander Coe... In my opinion Sasha is the world's best DJ technically & in all other aspects, once upon a time Oakey was the king of the castle.... But 100 % nowadays Sasha rules the roost and his essential mix at Maida Vale certainly helped him to acheive this!!! :-D
