IDC 2012: how to enter the contest, page 1

before we (organizers) get slammed with numerous questions on "how to enter the International DJing Competition 2012", i would like to lay out several basic steps that will ensure your joining the contest. please, note, this is not a tutorial how to win the contest, it only explains what steps need to be taken to enter the competition.

IDC 2012 registration dates are: now till 01 February 2012, 00:00 gmt

first, decide, if you'd like to do this alone or as a team of up to 3 DJs. the final scoring method will favor teams, possibly choosing best grades/ratings per all 3 djs per, but it hasn't yet been decided. if team is the way to go for you, - make up a team name. in case of solo participation - team name will be same as your DJ name.

second, prepare the information for each dj: a) DJ name/alias, b) country of residence, c) working email (will not be published anywhere), d) any possible internet resources for the DJ (home page, social pages, wikipedia, soundcloud, beatport, etc)

third, get all that info together, and send us an email or a personal message here on tribalmixes using any of the methods listed here https://www.tribalmixes.com/idc-all.php#contacts and wait for the "acceptance" reply.

fourth, and the last one, after getting accepted, start working on an exclusive 1hr long DJ mix for the contest. IDC 2012 mp3 submission deadline is 01 February 2012, 00:00 gmt. special extension of up to 3 days can be given per special request.

so, as you see, entering the contest is very simple - just get the info together for yourself and up to 2 of your friends and send us that info. do not post it here. use emails or personal messages listed on the official page.
