IDC 11???, page 1

there truly won't be one?  

probably not... it's been a good run... people lost interest.. there's talking about help, advising on things, everyone knows what to do, but when it comes to the process of doing - i am left alone. i am sorry, but i have no more motivation to run IDC...

It's totally understandable.

It's surely a lot of stress for slash to organize and manage this every 12 months.

But maybe we can hold something different this year that doesn't require so much organization and time/energy of slash?
Maybe have a TM End of 2010 Megapack, where all the DJ's who normally would participate in IDC, would instead submit a 2010 TM YearMix.

We still have a month before the new year so there's still time to advertise, put the word out for DJ's to submit their "year End mix for TM",

And then instead of IDC, you can present this megapack in whole, or in parts, to the community.
Not much work required, and the community still gets an end of the year "treat".

I understand it as well. Felt the same a lot of times organizing parties and so on. All I ever ended up with was down on money, time, willingness to do another one and a massive headache the day after ;]

And yes, the people kinda stopped appreciating what you do for them...

Well, I'm going to miss the IDC, it gave me nice thrills checking on the results in February, but I understand...
I'd definitely submit the end of the year mix, sounds like a good idea...

i really like ISYS idea, its easy simple and good  
and also i suggest doing several mega packs not, maybe one for each genre one for proggy one for trance one for dnb etc...

I agree here.. and also understand all the hard work to run this site let alone, and try to also do IDC etc... Very Stressful I see that.  

I also would hate to see the End of year with out something to celebrate it, I say lets do a End of year Special.
