i know we're all sitting on an information-bomb, and if someone asks something and an argument pops up, it's mostly all the time solved (if peacefully) by checking info "on the ..net..".. so yeah, just from top of your head, without researching on purpose, can anyone answer this question:

what is 'to prepare a Bento Box'?

yes, it is japanese, but of course i didn't want to make it so obvious, and changed topic name from "what is making Bento Lunch Boxes" to what it is now.. =)

so yeah, bento is more generalized, and can be very very different, and suchi can be a part of a good bento lunch box...

it's not about sushi, it's about creating, packing and decorating your lunch. my girlfriend plays with it sometimes... =)

Anyway I heard this bento box because I  Sushi.

Hi, I don't like raw sushi either gwende,  & i agree bidona, they do look like bait for fishing! lol... but  I've had cooked ones, like a fried-chicken roll (it's kinda like the California roll, where they look circular & have rice in it, with cucumbers & carrots wrapped in seaweed.) But in the middle, it's not raw fish that the chef puts but instead a fried chicken piece or cooked pinkish-shrimp.

I believe the Bento Box name is of Japanese origin. And it CAN be like u said lucabati, a form of takeaway sushi although my bf disagrees and said it's not about sushi. Although he is right when he describes it as "creating, packing and decorating your lunch." And yes i do like to experiment & try to make his lunch pleasing to the eyes; like an art form, I feel. And hopefully pretty tasty too! lol.. not all looks now, but good tasting too!!!

I was tired of only making sandwiches all the week long, every single day, in & out, & I was stumped & mind-blocked of any good ideas on how to make lunch time more satisfying for him, when one day, while searching on eBay for items i do not need, but am prone to buy , i came upon this young girl/lady who was selling such Bento Box lunch supplies & also had a https://www.BentoTV.com show where she showed how to make such lunches! And THAT's when I was like YES!!! I found what i've been searching for!!! The new ideas in how to prepare!

p.s. this Bento Box might be more of an interest for girls/ladies though.

Bento Box is the sushi box, and how do I know? I red in an Acer Travelmate test, that design was based on Bento Boxes:)

BTW, I hate sushi - i love raw fish - because of that green cover shit around it..
