Tell me about it (I'm getting an Ipod touch 2g 32gb), page 1

This will be my second one. My first is a nano. I want this for entertainment/PDA/wifi/games/music/movies.

Should i jailbreak it or not? Will it kill the battery? make it better? what?

Should i put music as mp4 to conserve space or just keep as mp3?

What should i use to convert .avi and .xvid to fit on the itouch?

Tell me any and everything about it that you think I should know.

I'll definitely put it to use for when i go on deployments with the Air Force. We work hard and play hard. lol
When we play hard I usually just go for a run or get on my laptop and watch a movie or listen to some jams form TM. I'm a social snail.

i have just got a 16gb iphone GS, handy piece of equipment in which each day goes by and i find another useful trick that it can do.  

I am very interested in getting my Iphone to download, transport and then offload onto my pc, anyone got any ideas on the best way to do this?

Its not a discussion for here, if you want pm me and talk in gmail. A guy i work with knows alot bout iphones and he says you can download torrents and download youtube vids too from your iphone.

Me i'll stick with blackberry for cell phone and ipod touch for entertainment :)
