Hello.

I'm trying to download "Sunrise 2008 video DvD torrent", who has 2 disc in this torrent.

If i select and download the first disc from this torrent on my computer, and i select and download the second disc on another computer, i get the 100% complete download of the torrent ??

pls help me with this information. thx.

As long as I see this,
your computers have to have different IP addresses. I mean they do not share the same connection. Otherwise it does not make any sense to download this way. Neither can you increase the download speed nor can the tracker recognize the computers as different.

So, I assume the computers have different IP addresses and the tracker allows you to login in your account from both. If it is true, then the tracker should associate both your different computers (actually their IP addresses) with your account and to map a torrent to each of them.

Further, the addresses do not change during the whole process of downloading starting at the downloading the torrent file. Otherwise, if an IP changes because it is dynamically reassigned, the tracker should say something like "unregistered" or "unrecognized".

Further, as long as I can guess, the tracker has no way to know you download some of the files described in the torrent. Then, it means, the tracker will consider a torrent is not completed until a computer has downloaded the whole torrent's content (both CDs on each computer).

In other words, I think, you get 100% complete download on each computer independently. Or you will not receive award for 100% complete download on both computers.

P.S. As I have read my post later I saw it was not quite correct. I am not going to correct it but I need to say:
Most probably, I haven't tried this, the tracker will not allow downloading from two different IP addresses.
So, downloading using two computers on the same shared IP address doesn't make any sense.
