Exactly 1 year ago today -13th October my world fell apart when i was diagnosed with breast cancer , no way not cancer .. 3 days earlier i'd been told it was a benign tumor and i'd been celebrating ..The shock was too much , i walked round the surgeons office saying no no no x 100 .. i was a broken woman .. but i knew what i had to do and that was fight fight fight for survival .. noway was this bastard going to beat me .. IT DIDN'T a year on i'm still here , in which i am so grateful to all my surgeons , Oncologists , Breast Cancer Nurses , My Family , and Friends and my strong mind ..
so today is pink wig and marshmallow day , it's going to be fun fun fun .. I'm throwing a party to help raise money for breast cancer research and to give thanks to everyone who has supported me ,
all my bc sister who i have cried for .. and i love dearly ..
you are all in my thoughts always

Hi gwende, I'm pretty new here and I read your first post, it gave me goosebumps. Cancer is such an evil disease, my grandfather died from it only months after he was diagnosed with it. You are a miracle and you have a very strong will, you are blessed. I wish you the best. :love:
