did you check if "Javascrtipt is enabled" in your browser? maybe some anti-spy software auto-disables javascript?
ps. this is the only reason, i think.. also it can be "old browser versions"...
pps look if firefox's top panel shows red circle with ! sign in it - check what it says there on ERRORS (not warnings)... and copy-past it here

There is a screen shot of the problem here. I'll check that javascript is enabled in my antivirus software, I have the same problem in both IE and Firefox and I cant see any error messages. The browser versions I use in work are the same as those I use at home. Thanks for your help on this

as i said before, the only reason is disabled javascript, because by the means of THE JS, everything that is not shown on the picture usually loads up.
sometimes some of the anti-anti-anti-software and popup-dropoff-slapusilly-blockers, and even ie and ff, they disable java, which i approve, but alongside they might disable javascript just in case, which is silly, but everyone to their own...

THanks. I found the problem. The Norton ad-blocker was preventing the page from loading. I have turned it off and it now works fine. Thanks for your help on this.

oh... that's nice... but i guess yeah, that's what it does - blocks the auto-js-loaded page, blocks the request itself, not the loading process.. nice..

My main usage of the site is in work, and everything works fine. When I try to log in at home nothing loads in the grey bar just below the top banner ads (to theright of the "Main" and "torrents" buttons). It loads as a continuous grey bar with "..." in the centre, and nothing to click on. All I get are the two chatboxes at the bottom. None of the links work (just bring me back to an unloaded page with the chatboxes at the bottom.
I have deleted cookies but its the same problem everytime I log in again. I use firefox at home, but have tried IE and its the same problem.
I think I exceeded my ratio from my home computer, but i'm back on track now. Does anybody have any suggestions as to how I can rectify this problem, as I want my home PC to be the main one from now on?
