I do not listen exclusively to progresssive house music and relatives...also if 99% of the time yes :-)

i was just wondering if also some of you have a favourite artist that has got game maybe in rap or rock or whatever.
My favourite musician must be Richard Ashcroft.

honestly, never heard about... i really respect Ritchie Blackmore (rainbow, deep purple). can't come up with any international right now, but there are some russian performers i respect also.

Richard Aschcroft used to be the leading singer of The Verve and now since about 7-8 years he is by himself, and released amazing albums such as alone with everybody and human conditions. it is relaxing music, i know that now that i said the verve u might remember some hits like sonnet, lucky man and bittersweet symphnoy maybe

Man, The only thing I listen to Is electronic music. But before I was a jazz nut. Coltrane, Davis, Bird, Jarret, Monk, and many many more. I had an oustanding collection, collected over ten years, that was stolen by a prostitute in New Orleans. I am pretty sure that's why the city was hit so hard as of late, retribution!!! No just kidding!!! But jazz is a great deal like electronic music.
