Your Favourite Classics (regardless of the genre), page 10

I was always way to blitzed to remember any tracks when I was at the Pulse.. I seem to remember one August bank holiday Monday morning.. after a 12 hour marathon... and then queuing outside the The Chrurch on Broad street for the after party..thinking I was talking to two girls who were teachers, who were in fact at school... literlally 16 or 17 ...absolutely smashed, so I never remembered any of these bangers...
The one time I did remember a track which was at Lakota absoultely toasted I spent the entire night trying to remember the word GUST as that was the mental capacity of my memory so as not to forget it from what I had heard.. It was this
and absolutely top drawer (Princess Julia or Jon 'Pleased' Wimmin who both used to frequent on a Saturday night smashed.. anyway... long story short it was this..belter and still is today for me.

Get up, stand up, strut your funky stuff, show it off!!!!
That tune got played so many times at Crunch/Sundissential etc. at that time.
Cracking and no mistake.
You're not the only one who has found themselves talking to school girls at after parties in brum. I recall a few crazy mornings in the West End Bar, chatting to some bonkers 6th formers from Chelmsley Wood. I naively assumed they were over 18 initially, due to the phat lines they were snorting off the shelf at the back of the bar
It was only when I asked them 'what they did' that my jaw dropped

DJ Jean did a remix of this track apparently. But this is the Fergie + BK remix.

Hard House being Hard House!
I never cared for the original mix, this was always the best by far!!!

Was class then.. still is class now!!

I heard a track (a lot like this version) in 1998, but never after that. Took me until today to find something like it.
The only remix of 'Just can't get enough' I ever really liked was similar to this then, but it had almost no vocals and much better synths.
Must have been done by the same producer... it was epic.

A Trance classic!

PvD was truly king back then

I still recall where I was when I first heard this track... Sundissential @ DNA in Birmingham.
Eddie Halliwell (resident at SS North) on the decks that night... a couple of Mitsi Turbos were hitting me pretty hard... but I still remember!!! Oh all that... and about 5 generic Redbulls with vodka
The club was cool (DNA) but the sound system was far too lightweight for Sundissential.
After that... I believe it moved (back) to the Sanctuary in Digbeth, at which point they had upgraded the system (to epic proportions) in the main hall.
Had some right belters in there... at that same time Godskitchen was on at Code/Air down the road and Atomic Jam was on at the Que Club. Plus HoG at the Custard Factory. I used to get into such a mess with so many options =))
