as a matter of fact, NO answer is the winning one, since it has 2 answers - with 55%, and "unlimited" only hads 45% of the votes. so let's see how it goes...

i love the idea of the IDc but i think that there should be a qualification round in each country so the best mixes (djs) of this certain country form their national team ,so then we will be able to enjoy the first round of sets and then hear even a better round of sets.
and i know you will ask how will we judge this huge amount of sets in the qualification round ,it could be by rating ,by overall download ,by both or any other mean ,thats my idea of a fired up IDC .

i have another idea...
2 win places one for the best team and one for the best dj in the contest....

very good idea spr, I like it much!
btw, I got the hungarian team ready, oh yes :)
5 members, in case the rules change so that there could be more, I'll have some other deejays at hand.
question: how and when can I register my team?

This qualification idea sounds alright..... it will mean each country's best team will be versing those around the world, but the time involved would draw out the process even further, making it something like a three month contest!!!
It's a great idea, just like the unlimited teams per country proposed rule, but the feasibility of implementing both ideas is just unreasonable, well thats just my personal opinon...

ur rignt...if u ask me...max one official team and one sub team per country is enough.....

i realy wana see the results from contest soon...not a 3 months after that...realy much more work for the judges....for that most of the users have to agree with 2 teams per country...its better than one team last idc anyways....
so the best offer is one best team and one best dj in the idc team/dj awards 2008

that doesnt mean team and dj have to be from one country...for example the best team can be germany and the best dj can be migas...just for example....

every team should start gathering their members together and after chosing a captain they should post their DJ list in a new forum. that'll make it easier for all.
i dont know if it's too late to voice my opinion about the whole how many teams per country but i think it's not fair for it to be unlimited. i think the best compromise is to allow only one team with a range of members (3-6 for example) rather than a fixed number..
yeah i think 7 members for each country should be fair as u can see on the main poll everyone voted unlimited teams but thats cause they all want to join ,,no one though of how hard it will be for the judges who strugled last year to announce a winner ...so insted of increasing the number of teams maybe increase the number of members ...this will make everything easier to traceRattuS wrote:

my opinion ...
2 teams per country... 1 main team, 1 sub team. 2 captains. maximum diversity in the genres - maximum points, thats a great idea yes.
