ok ok, here we go, some big things have happened and here is the summation:

1. tribalmixes is NOT ACCEPTING any more new users (at the moment). next step - invites, the only way to get in later down the line. lets just stay closed off for now...

2. several site sections now can be commented upon. those are: awards page (as some have noticed already, thanks for the feedback!!), top 20 pages (all of them, both torrents and users stats sections), history items (instead of annoying bees from disqus's new feature - pictures), users' profile pages, djlist pages (on top of "discuss in forum", this is "discuss right here" kinda function). comments can be added on any other page, pls, suggest!!

@moderators: please, spend more time moderating comments now. all of them are available via comments section of the site, all are there, no matter what page or resource they belong originally to.

3. website and most of its pages were migrated from PROTOTYPE to JQUERY, which allows for faster AJAX communications, plus miriads of functions and libraries of JQuery should ease my life alot...

@everyone: if you notice some AJAX shit not working - please, report. AJAX stuff is when some data is sent or received and processed without actual page reload, for example, rating torrents off the browse page, voting in poll, etc, etc. i have gone over all of the spots where AJAX was used, but maybe something got left unchanged...

new Share-Ratio Rules, Account Visitation Rules, and Automated System Warning guidelines..

Just to keep this one going, let's put it here too:

New Share-Ratio Rules, we're going back to (almost) original version from 2005-2008. See exact numbers in Tribalmixes FAQ: Share-Ratio. If your Share-Ratio falls below set limits, you get an Automated System Warning.

New Visitation Rules, again dating back to very early years: if you do not visit for 1 month (30 days), you get an Automated System Warning. (Power Users and higher are immune to this new rule).

New Power Users Requirements: you must have been a user for at least 8 weeks, have uploaded at least 50GB, have Share-Ratio at or above 2.00, and (new) posted 20 comments and 10 forum posts to become/stay power user.

New WARNING Policy. Warnings issued manually by Staff will have their own duration and will be auto-removed upon endtime. Automated System Warnings issued by bots will allow 2 months to fix the situation. If warning still persists after 2 months, your account IS DISABLED. Only donations will revive such accounts.

Automated System Warning will be removed 60 minutes after your return to the website (case 2), or upon you reaching a Share-Ratio of 5% above the required minimum (case 1).

all this becomes active APRIL 19th, 2014.

besides that, i've just tweaked some code, i think now all the buttons should disable after click to avoid the double-clicking. you will visually notice that as the buttons will dim on click. just want everyone (of the dozen people who will read this) to be aware of this changed and report inadequacies, if those arise.. thanks!!

some change in LOTTERY PRIZES today!!!

be on the lookout for new Mega Prize - 1 Hour of Ratio-Free Downloads!!! this Mega Prize replaces the 2000 points one, and it will come up 1 time in every 20.000 tickets.

other (cosmetic) changes include: 5 current Grand prizes of 1000 points, 1GB Upload, 1GB Download, 1 Upload Slot, 1 Invite will remain but frequency changes to 1 in every 10.000 tickets. 500 points tickets will not come up in every 2000 tickets, and "25 points in every 50 tickets" prize is now replaced by "50 points in every 100 tickets" one, which is pretty much the same.
